The LSI22320 is HP's highest-performance Ultra320 SCSI Host Bus Adapter. It is ideal for enterprise to mid-range servers and the most demanding workstations. The LSI22320 supports 320MBps transfer rate with two channels. The HP 64-bit 133mhz dual channel Ultra320 SCSI adapter provides customers with the flexibility and speed they have come to expect from HP. This adapter is ideal for hp tape arrays and larger non-raid storage applications, and supports Utra 320 SCSI, Wide Ultra3 SCSI, and Wide Ultra2 SCSI protocols. It is the primary building block for non-raid SCSI storage solutions that provide the maximum of 320 mb/second bandwidth. The LSI22320-HP SCSI adapter has two primary uses: high-end tape backup and large jbod file and print applications as neither application requires fault tolerance but both have large bandwidth requirements.
